Joomla 1.5.x - Adding a New Module Position
On the 1.5.x series to create new module positions you simply go into the Module Manager and then either edit an existing module or create a new module. Then type the name of the module position into the Module Position field and when you save it will then be added to your site as a new module position is on your list.
Kunena Module Positions
Kunena has the following module positions within which you can place any joomla module, so to add Google Ads to your site simply publish a Joomla Google Ads module into one of these positions.
kunena_profilebox kunena_announcement kunena_bottom kunena_msg_1 ... kunena_msg_n, where n = number of messages in a page
These module positions are available for any type of Joomla modules and are not limited to advertising modules, anything that can be displayed inside a module can be shown inside of Kunena through these positions.
Sizing and available space should be considered carefully as large modules can consume significant portions of your screen real estate.
New for Kunena 1.6:
